Dear clients, partners and friends,

We hope that this newsletter finds you in good health, and that you, your family and colleagues have overcome the coronavirus crisis in the best possible conditions. It is our hope that you can progressively plan a return to normal.

Switzerland is currently in easing lockdown measures in the context of Covid-19. We would like to hear from you and share with you our experiences during this extraordinary period.

As soon as the first government recommendations were announced, we took the necessary steps to minimise the risk of spreading the virus among our employees and customers. Thanks to the digitisation implemented at Sensile Technologies a long time ago, our employees were as efficient working from home as from the office, and were able to meet customer expectations with the usual quality of service.
Only the logistics team was present every day to guarantee order delivery. Our office doors remained open to every employee who wanted to come in, whether to enjoy the beautiful view, have a quick chat, or simply to escape from home…

Thanks to the stock we had, we were able to send a large part of the orders received. However, for a few weeks, most of our subcontractors experienced production stoppage, which affected our business. In addition to insufficient equipment, from mid-April, we faced a massive increase in customer orders that continued through to May. As a result, we are currently experiencing delivery delays. And barring a second wave of contamination in the next few weeks, we expect a return to normal within the next four weeks.

We are proud to announce that we have decided to keep all of our employees. We are even seeking to hire additional engineers (R&D and Software Project Manager, Firmware) to help us accelerate our growth. If you know of anyone who might be interested, please feel free to send them the following link: https://www.sensile.com/company/career/.

In order to welcome our new engineers in the best possible way, and to expand while continuing to enjoy the superb view of Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, we have had the opportunity to acquire spacious offices in which social distancing is guaranteed.

We look forward to returning to normal and being able to schedule visits with our customers again. Nothing beats human contact. The next few months are already shaping up to be very intense as we are seeing a sharp increase in demand for our solutions. Indeed, many customers have realised the importance of digitising their business, and to do so, they need the data that our solutions provide. Please contact us, we will be happy to advise and support you throughout your digitisation project.
