By optimising fuel deliveries, Sensile Technologies’ SENTS™ solutions are not only helping customers to save money, but also significantly reducing their transport-related CO2 emissions.

Data from customers indicates that installation of the SENTS™ on oil and gas tanks has helped reduce the average number of deliveries by 20%. Based on the total number of installed SENTS™ systems, this translates to around 2.2 million fewer kilometres travelled each year by delivery trucks to monitored tanks. This reduces their carbon footprint by an estimated 2,200 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year* – or more than 6 tonnes per day.

To put this in perspective, annual CO2 emissions per person in Switzerland are 5.6 tonnes**.
