In Istanbul, at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, perspectives converge and exchanges transcend borders. Looking back on Liquid Gas Week 2026, we take away a wonderful collaboration with our colleagues at WIKA Turkey and a strengthened conviction: the true value of technology lies in what it enables us to achieve.

From 12 to 16 October, more than 1,900 professionals from 92 countries gathered in Istanbul to discuss the theme ‘Resilience in a Changing World’. Faced with geopolitical uncertainties, market shifts and climate challenges, we exchanged views on the sector’s ability to adapt and innovate, both at our stand and during the conferences.
Sensile and WIKA: a partnership that makes a difference
At our stand, we had the pleasure of working hand in hand with our colleagues from WIKA Turkey: Emirhan Bulut, Işıl Arel and Sıtkı Cebecioğlu. The collaboration was extremely valuable.
In one of the world’s largest markets for LPG as a fuel, with over 4.8 million vehicles running on LPG, their deep market knowledge, industrial experience and established relationships with local stakeholders proved invaluable. Not to mention the opportunity to engage with visitors in their own language, which made the discussions even richer and more natural.
By pooling our expertise, we were able to go beyond simply presenting our solutions to explore with visitors the possibilities offered by better use of data. This synergy between international expertise and on-the-ground knowledge gave our discussions a special dimension. A fine illustration of what we can achieve together within the WIKA Group.
Beyond technology: turning data into savings
For the first time, Sensile took to the stage at the Global Technology Conference. Silvia König, our Head of Business Development, presented ‘Turning Data into Savings’.
Thanks to our remote monitoring solutions for LPG tanks and our Oil Link™ cloud platform, we help distributors manage their supplies more effectively and make the most of their data. The objective goes far beyond simply monitoring levels: it’s about planning deliveries more effectively, avoiding unnecessary journeys and reducing logistics costs.
“Technology alone does not create value. It starts when teams trust the data and use it to make better decisions,” emphasises Silvia.
Our experience shows that a 30% increase in the average volume delivered can reduce the number of deliveries by up to 25%, resulting in savings and lower CO₂ emissions.
Digital intelligence to support decision-making
This discussion continued during the roundtable ‘Digital Intelligence & Data Advantage in the Global Liquid Gas Industry’, in which Cédric Morel, our Managing Director, took part.
He emphasised that return on investment does not simply depend on the number of connected devices, but on the ability to transform reliable data into concrete decisions. This also involves integrating the data into existing processes, adapting certain practices and providing ongoing support to teams.
Discussions continuing well beyond Istanbul
We have returned from Istanbul with new ideas, exciting prospects and, above all, a desire to continue the conversations we began there.
As Bikay Hamuli, our Marketing & Customer Success Specialist, points out: “These meetings are invaluable for gaining a better understanding of the industry’s needs and challenges. They also enable us to further our thinking on how we can address them.”
Thank you to everyone who came to meet us. We look forward to reconnecting with the LPG community in early November 2026 in Manchester, at the Liquid Gas UK event, and then in April 2027 in Santiago, Chile, for the 40th AIGLP Congress.
In the meantime, please get in touch with us to continue the conversation and explore opportunities for your business.
