In order to get the most value of our innovative core technologies and products, Sensile Medical has entered into product-driven collaborations with academic and industrial partners. In addition to current collaborations, Sensile Medical is always open to new opportunities, internal as well as external, which can complement its technology and product portfolio.

Academic Collaborations

Collaboration with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne

Sensile Medical has established a long-term research collaboration with the Laboratory of Micro-engineering for Manufacturing within the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne (http://lpm.epfl.ch/). Several of Sensile Medical’s technology and product-development projects have emerged from this productive collaboration and resulted in financial support from The Innovation Promotion Agency (CTI), Switzerland.

Collaboration with Joanneum Graz, Austria
JOANNEUM RESEARCH is committed to applied research and development based on research done by universities and institutes of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
Sensile Medical and JOANNEUM RESEARCH are working together in the areas of clinical development of new products, tight control of glucose in ICU patients and development of an artifical pancreas (closed loop system).

Industrial Collaborations

Sensile Medical is working with a number of carefully selected industrial partners to complement its in-house expertise, such as a successful partnership with Zühlke Engineering GmbH, a leading technology company providing high quality product innovation and software solutions and Boehringer Ingelheim microParts, a leading company in microsystem-technology.
